Remote Assistant Opportunities

Remote-first roles · U.S. clients · Structured placement support

We're selective. You should be too.

The Swink Group places skilled Remote Assistants with founders and businesses across the United States. We're not building a giant database of random applicants and hoping somebody fits.

We're looking for professionals who communicate well, follow through, take ownership, and care about the quality of their work. If you want a role where being dependable, capable, and genuinely useful matters, you're in the right place.

What Gets Noticed

The Candidate File

Open

What are we actually looking for?

Not perfection. Someone a client can trust with real responsibility.

  1. 01

    Communication

Clear, professional communication with clients and teammates.

  2. 02

    Reliability

You show up, follow through, and don't need to be chased for every update.

  3. 03

    Ownership

You think beyond the task, notice problems, ask useful questions, and take responsibility for your work.

  4. 04

    Role Fit

Your experience, strengths, tools, and working style match what the client actually needs.

A strong application gives us something useful to evaluate — not just a résumé attached to an empty form.

The TSG Candidate Standard

A résumé tells us what you've done. Trust tells us what we can hand you.

Our clients may hand you access to inboxes, customer conversations, CRMs, workflows, reporting, money-related details, and tasks that affect their reputation. Skill matters. Character, reliability, and judgment matter too.

Real roles. Real responsibility.

  • Client communication
  • Operations
  • Administration
  • CRM & pipeline management
  • Bookkeeping & finance administration
  • Marketing support
  • Technology support
  • Internal workflows
  • Customer success
  • Business systems

Candidate Review Criteria

What we actually pay attention to

TSG Standard
  1. 01

    Reliability

You show up, meet deadlines, follow through, and do what you said you would do.

A client should never have to wonder where you disappeared to.

  2. 02

    Communication

You ask useful questions, give clear updates, and flag issues before they become bigger problems.

Professional communication is part of the job — not an optional extra.

  3. 03

    Real Skill

You actually know how to do the work you're applying to perform.

Familiarity with a tool is not the same thing as knowing the job.

  4. 04

    Ownership

You understand the outcome, notice what needs attention, and take responsibility for your work instead of waiting to be told every tiny next step.

  5. 05

    Professionalism

You can work with founders, clients, customers, and teammates in a way that builds trust.

How you carry yourself shows up in every interaction.

  6. 06

    Remote Readiness

You have reliable internet, appropriate equipment, and a work setup that allows you to perform consistently in a professional remote environment.

  7. 07

    Tool Fluency

Google Workspace, Zoom, Slack, CRMs, task tools, and common SaaS platforms should feel natural to you.

We don't need perfection — but we do need competence.

What We Don't Need

Somebody pretending to be good at everything.

Knowing your strongest lane is a strength, not a weakness.

What We Do Need

Someone clients can trust with real work, real responsibility, and real follow-through.

Candidate Screening

This isn't just an application. This is where screening begins.

We don't use the application simply to collect résumés. It's our first opportunity to evaluate how carefully you follow instructions, how clearly you communicate, how you think through responsibility, and how honestly you present your experience.

  1. 01

    Read Carefully

Some instructions are intentionally specific. Following them is part of the screening.

  2. 02

    Be Specific

Give us enough context to understand what you've actually done and what you can own.

  3. 03

    Show Your Thinking

Several questions are designed to show us how you handle real responsibility and uncertainty.

  4. 04

    Come Prepared

Have your résumé, remote-work details, speed test, workspace photo, and Loom ready.

Before You Open It

Take your time. We actually read it.

This is not a five-minute résumé drop. Give the application the same attention you'd give work for a client. Set aside uninterrupted time.

  • Read the instructions carefully.
  • Answer thoughtfully, with specific examples.
  • Represent your skills accurately — don't exaggerate your experience.

Honest and thoughtful beats rushed and polished.

You do not need to know everything — you do need to accurately represent what you know.

    Approved Talent Roster

What Joining the Roster Means

Approval does not guarantee immediate placement.

Being approved means you may join the TSG talent roster and be considered for matching opportunities that fit your skills, experience, availability, and working style.

It isn't a guarantee of a client assignment, hours, income, or a placement timeline. It means you're someone we'd put forward when the right role comes up.

Who Thrives With TSG Clients

This isn't about being perfect. It's about being professional.

The strongest Remote Assistants aren't impressive for the first week and invisible by the third. They're people who build trust over time because their clients know what to expect from them. That standard is pretty simple.

Own it. Treat the responsibility like it matters.

Don't just complete tasks and move on. Understand what the work affects, notice when something looks wrong, and take responsibility for the outcome you were trusted to support.

Ownership is what turns assistance into actual value.

Say it. Communicate before someone has to ask.

If something is delayed, unclear, broken, or headed in the wrong direction, speak up. Good remote professionals don't make clients chase them for context.

Silence creates uncertainty. Communication builds trust.

Show up. Be as dependable on week twelve as week one.

Anybody can make a great first impression. Professionalism is being consistent after the newness wears off — doing what you said, when you said, at the standard the client has learned to rely on.

Consistency is what makes people want to keep working with you.

If you read all of that and thought,

“Yeah. That's just how I work,”

we should probably see your application.

  • Take your time.
  • Be honest.
  • Be specific.
  • We actually read it.
